The following statement I do agree with:

'In many rap videos women have no identity except as sexual playthings and "eye candy"
These women in modern music videos are used for nothing more than eye candy for the viewers pleasure. The artists make all the girls dress up in revealing and 'sexy' clothing so that the video becomes 'successful.' Well that's what he artist believes. The artist believes that in all of his videos he has to have it sex related so that young boys and men get attracted into the song. Most girls do not even get paid for being in music videos. However the more popular, classy and clever girls do get paid. The girls who don't get paid normally just do it so that they can have sex with the artist and become famous.

To get all of these girls in the music videos the directors normally put advertisements on social networks, such as Facebook or Twitter. When it comes down to when the girls actually turn up and perform, they sometimes get the upsetting news that they don't actually get paid. An example of this is Digital Dan, who made loads of girls perform for him and ended up rejecting them.

I believe that the girls are not being treated correctly at all. The artists literally order them to do anything (even strip). There has also been artists who have been taken to court, because of video girls claiming they have been sexually assaulted by them. However, many people may argue that it is the video girls fault in the first place, for actually turning up to try and get into these videos. It is the girls choice to turn up and want to be apart of it, so its their decision.

  1. Well done, some solid work here with some sound analysis and evaluation.
Make sure that you are re-reading your work so that it makes complete sense.

T: Try to use specific examples from the videos to help you anchor your points.
